My favorite part about this super awesome job I have is getting to meet and interact with all of our wonderful clients. I’m 100% convinced that our clients are the best in the world and we’re so excited to show everyone the awesome people we shoot everyday!

I live in Athens, Ga with my husband (the other 1/2 of this crazy business!) Anthony and our precious, growing little boy Riley AND our new little girl Reese..so in these posts you will find our most recent work and our personal life stories. This is a place of honesty and a chance for you all to have insight into our everyday lives…some times boring…sometimes crazy exciting…so come along for the ride and thanks for stopping by!

Leah & Andrew: Married

Leah and Andrew had an awesome wedding in the fall that we were so excited to get to be a part of it! I think it would be a safe bet to say that this was one of the most photographed weddings we have ever been to. The brides mama told us there would be a lot of big cameras at this event and she was NOT lying! But what was awesome about it was that I had a LOT of folks to talk shop with and everyone was so gracious and excited to see the work that we would produce from the day. Andrew and Leah were so much fun and were more than willing to take time to play around with us while we were shooting…all those components created a beautiful wedding day with a rocking reception party! The best part was that at the end of the day, a beautiful couple said “I do” and started the most exciting time of their lives together…*sigh…I love my job. Here are a few of our favorites!

Anna & Robert: Married!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all outside enjoying the awesome (already-hot-and-its-only mid March) weather! We officially start our 2012 wedding season NEXT SATURDAY so now its time to get some new posts up!

**Im super sorry that Ive taken a little hiatus from blogging….honestly, its not my favorite thing. I used to LOVE blogging. It was a place to share my thoughts…our work…keep everyone updated on whats going on in our lives…but I guess its different now. When I first started blogging, facebook wasnt as huge as it is now for business…but now it is…so that changes the game a little bit. I feel like with blogs, its a lot of giving of information and not a whole lot of interacting with the people who read it. Thats why I love facebook…I get to TALK to all of you people who read what I write or share about my business and life…and I LOVE that! But, now that Ive aired my bloggers dirty laundry…onto an amazing wedding and we just LOVED being a part of!

Anna and Robert had a fabulous fall wedding that included the likes of peach preserves and sweet tea. It was a beautiful day in Athens and we had a lot of time to play with this couple and their wedding party after a romantically sweet ceremony at The Botanical Gardens. I dont know the last time I laughed so hard at a wedding, these guys were all awesome! Here are some of our favorites from their big day!!!

Back to Basics Workshop

Welcome to my first NEW post on our blog! Woohoo! in the next few weeks you will seeing a slew of new posts and images, so stay tuned! But first things first…

We have taught workshops in the past to beginning professionals and to hobbiest…but this was the first time that we made a full day out of a group workshop and it was wonderful! This workshop is just for hobbiest who want to learn how to use that big ole fancy camera they have and it was SO much fun! If you are a mom who wants to learn how to take pictures of your kids…or you have pets…or just like being out in nature with a camera and want to make that bad boy work for you to the best of its ability…THIS is the workshop for you! I had the best time working with all of these beautiful women for the day. Here are just a few of my images that I took during our shooting session, including a few group shots of all the fabulous ladies who participated. Special “THANK YOU!!!” to The Hodges for letting us use their sweet family as models for the day (since they are paper pregnant with their adoption of a sweet baby from Africa, we had a blast working that into the shoot!) and to The Hamby girls for being amazing and willing to do all that we asked of them . You guys are all rock stars and Im so glad we got to spend the entire day together!

Andrea: Bridal

This beautiful lady was so awesome to work with! Andrea and Hal had their engagement session a few months back and when we scheduled her bridal session, I knew EXACTLY where to take her! *Thank you SO much Hotel Indigo for letting us bounce around your hotel for the afternoon.

Vikki & Michael: Maternity

This couple JUST…literally like 4 days ago just…welcomed their sweet baby Mallory into the world! Vikki and Michael have been on this blog a few times before and Im so glad that we get to be a part of this next step in their lives! We have known these two for a looooong time and when we shot their wedding in 2008, I never would have thought that we would be parents together! *You just dont think about that kind of thing until it happens I guess…

Long story short..we LOVE you Vikki and Michael (and Mallory!) and we cant wait to meet her soon! I’ll be shooting newborn pictures of their sweet girl in the next few weeks and I’ll make sure to show her off to everyone on here! Until then…here are some of our favorites from their session!

Lindsey & Jared: Engagement

Lindsey & Jared got married a few weekends ago and we had SO much fun celebrating with them! *be on the look out for those images soon!

Lindsey and Jared is amazing…just amazing. And I will share more about it when I blog their wedding…but for now, here are some of our favorite images from their engagement session! Lindsey brought along all of the letters she and Jared wrote to each other while he was a boot camp for the army and I loved incorporating them into their session. Thats real life folks…and their story is the kind that only really happens in the movies…but God saw it fit for these two love birds to find each other and Im SO.GLAD! Greg & Rachel: Anytime

I love these guys! Greg and Rachel are some of the sweet, most giving people I know. So when Greg called me about setting up a session for them as a surprise for Rach…I was REALLY excited about it. **Fellas…this is an awesome idea! You get to look cute and kiss on your wives for the afternoon in front of a camera…whats not to like?! Needless to say…we had a great time just hanging out together. Here are some of our favorites!

Jessica & Duane: Maternity

Jessica and Duane have been my friends FOR-EV-ER. I have taken maternity pictures for this sweet couple not once, not twice, but this makes the third time! Im so excited that they are having another beautiful baby and I cant wait to snuggle this little boy! p.s. Jessica is a ridiculously beautiful pregnant lady…the kind that makes us swollen, puffy, and prone to sweat pregnant ladies super jealous. :) Love you guys Jess & Du!

Meredith: Sweet 16!

Happy Birthday Meredith! This girl is such a sweetie. Ive known her since she was itty bitty and I just love her and her family so much. Meredith was sweet enough to model for an session that we planned for our lovely summer intern, Elizabeth, and we had a great time! Here are some of our favorites from the day.
