Taaaa daaaa!!!

Hey everyone! Just a quick note to let you know that our new website is finally done!!!! HOORAY! This thing has been a labor of love for..well..Im too embarrassed to tell you exactly how long BUT…for a while and we are so excited its up and ready to view. Thanks soooo much to Samantha at bludomain…she seriously helped me soooo much its not even funny. Thanks to our intern Hannah for being awesome and working on this site so much over the last few months…and thanks to my husband for looking at it a million and one times to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Our old site will be converted into a new Portraits site and the new site is going to be used strictly for weddings and couples and brides (oh my!). Anywho…its still the same ole link so..take a look and we hope you guys love it as much as we do!

Tara & Derek: Maternity

We just LOVE this couple and could not be more excited about meeting their daughter soon! Tara and Derek attend the same church as Anthony and I and over the last (almost) 4 years we have developed an awesome friendship with these two. Their sweet baby, Selah, will be here soon so we had to get their maternity pictures done before she makes her debute! Come on Dec 23rd! (that was my pick in the baby pool!) Here are some of our favorites from their session. Tara & Derek, we love you guys more than you know and are so excited that your little girl will have the opportunity to fight with all of the other little girls in church over my son… hehehehe Here are the goods!

Nicole: Maternity

Hi everyone! Hope your weeks have been great. We have been rockin it over here at MPP and I wish I could say that our weekend was slow but…its not. This is one of a few post we will make this weekend so stay tuned because we have an awesome wedding to post later!

If you have seen this blog at all in the last year you will definitely remember this beautiful lady! This is Nicole. In the last year and a half we have shot her engagement, bridal, and wedding! Well, now its onto the next phase of life for she and her wonderful hubs, Cullen…its time for a baby! Their sweet little miss will be born THIS MONTH and we got together for their maternity session just in time! We even incorporated their sweet puppies too so it was truly a family affair. Here are some of our favs and stay tuned in the next month to see pictures of the baby when she gets here…we cant wait!!!

Nicole and Cullen we’re super great friends to me because we had a baby sitter MAYDAY situation right before their shoot and they said I could bring Riley with me. He was great…til the very end when he had had his fill of the bumbo and not being able to hold his mommy…here he is being sweet and looking out at Nicole and Cullen’s doggies.

Oh…and here is Riley right towards the end…pre melt down. Bless him…

Congrats Nicole and Cullen…we cant wait for play dates for Riley and Whitley! We know you are going to be wonderful parents and we are so excited about seeing your family grow!

Leigh & Brian: Maternity

You guys might remember Leigh from last year when we did a bridal session with her. She had been married for a year but called me about setting up a bridal session and we had SOOO much fun! I just love her and her husband, Brian, and I am so excited about their new adventures in parenthood! Leigh and I went back and forth on dates for her maternity session and we barely…and I mean BARELY squeezed it in…she had her sweet little baby the VERY NEXT DAY!!! I cant wait to meet her sweet boy tomorrow and Im so excited about sharing “new mommy” stuff with Leigh and letting our boys hang out together…how fun! Here are a few of our favorites… Congrats guys! We love you and cant wait to meet and snuggle with your sweet baby boy!

Riley is Here!!!

Hey everyone…after 21 or so hours of fun…here is our sweet little bubba, Riley Liam Pepin. He weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He got here around 3:30 and he’s doin great. Baby mama update…or lack there of.

April 12, 2009 – 12:52 am

Hello friends! So…no baby Riley yet, but Im workin’ on it. Ive been walking like its my only mode of transportation. Ive been sitting on our front porch rocking back and forth at warp speed in our rocking chairs (Laurie told me it would work so…if she’s lying…then at least my neighbors have had a good laugh). The only result I have from any of this is swollen feet…and seriously, how my husband can even remotely think Im beautiful at this stage is beyond me. I have ONE foot that is HUGE! I mean..for real huge…it looks like my toes are about to get eaten by my foot. The other foot is swollen too…but nothing like the tank attached to my other leg, geeze. My fingers have plumped up too…so that I cant wear my wedding rings (including the new diamond band Anthony gave me a few weeks ago!). BUT…in good news..I hear that all of this is a big fat sign that the end is near…so I willingly embrace the chubs if it means Riley is almost here! And because no blog post is complete without a picture…here is one that Laurie grabbed of me from Amanda and Jordan’s wedding last week. I wasnt allowed to climb on anything or stand on tables or lay on the floor like I normally would to grab fun shots so…I went with the hands over head method. heheheh…geeze!

On another and MUCH MUCH more important note…tomorrow is Easter and Im so unbelievably thankful for what this holiday means. It means that Jesus is risen…that He conquered death…and that He paid the ultimate price for my sins that I would never ever be able to pay on my own. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and get to spend time with your families reflecting on what that 3rd day meant.

Now, on a less important note…Im off to boil some eggs and break out the egg dying kit. Anthony gets off work in 15 minutes and doesnt know it yet but I signed him up to help me color the eggs. He’s going to be SOOOOOO excited! heheheeh maybe not…but Im pretty sure if I use the ole “YOU DID THIS TO ME” phrase and point at my swollen feet and belly…it might just work.

Maternity: Emily & Matt

Everyone, its my pleasure to introduce to you Emily and Matt! They are expecting a little bundle of joy named Lillian in like..well…ANY day now and we cant wait for her to get here!!! Lillian is going to be one of the many ladies that Riley will have the opportunity to hang out with once he gets here and we couldnt be more excited that Riley hanging out with Lillian=Us hanging out with Emily and Matt! This whole play date thing is starting to look REALLY fun! :)

We were scheduled to do Emily and Matt’s session last Sunday…BUT, Blizzard 2009 put a hault on our plans and Im so glad that it did because late last week it turned perfect outside and we had the best time at one of my favorite places in town…MY old elementary school’s playscape! P.S. When we pulled up, I freaked out! I remember it being SOOOOO much bigger when I was a kid…darn the adult perspective!

We had such a great time during Emily and Matt’s session and we cant wait to meet their little miss once she gets here…no worries friends, you’ll get a chance to meet her on here Im sure! Here are just a few of our favorites from our day on the playground…and watch out…Matt’s a pointer! We love you Emily and Matt and hurry up and get here Lillian!!!
