Okay..so this week has been insane with just a billion little things and I think im starting to officially loose my mind. Yesterday morning I was driving to the studio when all of a sudden it was as if I were in a high speed chase with a plum colored PT Cruiser. They were on my tail so close all I could see was the little bubble top of the car. For some reason I slipped into a mild panic attack and felt like the ghost of mommies from the future was taunting me and I was being chased down by Super Nanny! It was so scary…I could just see Jo Frost behind the wheel screaming at me for being naughty for having pancakes for dinner instead of a salad…it made my blood pressure go up…shesh! 

Anywho…sorry for the lack of images and post this week. Im shooting several commercial things this week that we will reveal later on in the week/early next week AND I have tons of new exciting things to share with everyone…we just have to let them all get 100% worked out before we announce them. So…keep your eyes peeled! Have a great day everyone and just know that the next time you fix your hair, put on makeup, and a favorite pair of earrings that you havent worn in a while but that still make you feel really pretty…its going to monsoon as soon as you step off of your porch…so tote your parka in hand and keep smiling, thats what I did!

okay..so she probably wont see this post unless by some random chance she decides to check ye ole blog today…but just in case she does… Mom..Im sorry..it will NEVER happen again. :) 

So most of you know that before getting pregnant I had been working out with my mom for almost a year and had lost a little over 40lbs. It was awesome getting to spend more time with her…but more over it was really great getting myself together and really proving that I could push myself beyond what I ever expected! Well…part of my dieting and workout regimen included lots of fresh fruits and veggies…staying away from lots of breads and sugars…you know, all the stuff that tastes good. So, this post could get me in a LOT of trouble… I am getting ready to head into the studio to work on some images and start with my giant January to do list, but I wanted to eat lunch first so…I sliced an orange..broke out some left over celery sticks….and made a box of crappy mac and cheese (you know..the kind with the powder stuff…oh yeah! Thats what Im talking about!!!). I havent had this stuff since before I got married (3 and 1/2 years ago!) and let me tell you..it was TOO GOOD!  Yea its full of preservatives and all kind of chemical craziness, but it was so tasty I just closed my eyes and went with it! I DID, however, restrict myself to ONE serving of this fake cheesy goodness which equaled to 1 cup…you’ll see I measured it out, and the rest went into the trash…its the ONLY way I know I wouldnt eat anymore!!! I ate my serving, washed it down with the orange and celery..and Im definitely planning a walk today so…dont kill me mom…its the kid’s fault. :)

Oops!!!! One casualty though…poor little noodle. The baby belly has become its own force of nature and it tends to catch things I drop. Shesh…

Okay, so I didnt spend my New Years Eve in NYC but it was still a really great night! We hung out at home with good company, good food, and good drinks and I wouldnt have wanted it any other way! 2008 was incredible for us. This year in our business we shot a ton of weddings and got to meet so many wonderful people…I went to 2 incredible workshops and got the opportunity to work with some of the most talented AND respectable professionals in this industry…we shot an ad for Miller Lite and worked with a national ad company to do it…we were published in several magazines for our commercial work…we got a studio space…we got accepted some really cool associations and groups of professionals that are incredible…all this to say we have been SOOOOOOO incredibly blessed this year in our business and its more than evident that God has protected us and carried us through out this year!

Personally…Anthony and I were even more blessed in 2008. We have paid off all of our credit card debt (thank you college for making it add up!!!!), paid off one of our cars,…we grew closer to each other in ways we didnt know were possible…we depended on God and His graces in ways we didnt know were possible… we GOT PREGNANT…and we became more than content at the idea of being able to happily and excitedly retreat into our home…just us, our puppies, and this little guy that keeps moving in my belly. 

For 2009, we want to give more…not just financially…but more of ourselves too…to people that need it…to causes that deserve it. We want to grow more in love with Jesus…and with each other…we want to be good parents and be able to give our son, RILEY, things that we have always dreamed of…we want to take more time for us as a family…we want to work harder and work less. And more than anything we want the way we treat others to be a pure reflection of the God we serve. Its going to be a great year and we cant wait to get started!!!

For 2009, we are looking forward to shooting lots, learning lots, and showing our clients that they are the BEST in the whole wide world!!! We have big plans in the next few weeks so check back to our site often and see all of the updates that we are making! We have new wedding packages (updated this morning!!!), new products coming, and more cool people to work with so…you guys have a Happy New Year and we CAN’T WAIT to see what this year brings!!!!
