The VanOrman’s: Family

Oh this post is probably going to make me do the ugly cry…consider yourselves warned.

This sweet family is uber near and dear to my family’s little heart. Anthony has known Curt and Connie for…oh forever. Curt is like another brother to Anthony and Curts mama…well…like a mama to Anthony too. Over the last (almost) 6 years I have been in Anthonys life, Curt and Connie (and Ms.Linda) have taken me in under their family wings and made me feel like I have always been a part of the picture. These people love hard…and they love consistantly…and everytime we see them I miss them more and more. We have even considered moving back to where Anthony grew up, Habersham, Ga.,just to be closer to these guys. BUT, then I realize that there isnt a good cup of coffee or an organic hamburger ANYWHERE for miles and it makes me re-think that move. hehehehe

Curt and Connie are not only two of the most attractive and smart people you could know BUT they are also the perfect examples of how beautiful marriage can be and how fun having a family can be. They love these little boys to no end and when the 4 of them are together I cant help but smile REEEEAAAAAL big. I was so excited to head up and do a session for them last week. It was so fun getting to experience their family in a new way and I can tell you that these little boys are a handful! They made me laugh SOOOOOO much! I swear that they are little old men trapped in 3 year olds bodies…you’ll see what Im talking about. Enjoy and Curt and Connie…we love you guys more than you’ll ever know and praise Jesus for you in our lives.

Did I mention that these little guys are twins. Okay…this shot is sooooo Patty Duke “Identical Cousins” to me..hahahah

The Barron’s: Family

Everyone, meet The Barron Family! This super sweet family came down from Atlanta to have a session with us and Im SOOO glad that they did! We went to this awesome play area in town that has tons of fun playscapes and swings that their son had a blast playing on. He was so snuggly and cute the whole time it made me miss Riley and got me really excited about him becoming more mobile! This lil guy was crawling and running around everywhere!!! Thank you guys for coming down and letting us experience your family, we cant wait to do it again!!! Here are some of our favorites!

p.s. Sorry Lynsey but Im stealing your hair cut…Its soooo cute and Im in need of something new so Im taking it! heheehe

Tabitha & Micah: Married!

Happy Saturday everyone! Its almost time for some good ole UGA football and a weekend of craziness so what better time for a blog post right?!

You all probably remember Tabitha and Micah from their e-session not too long ago. These two are so sweet and in love that it just makes me smile. I met with Tabitha and her sweet (and extremely encouraging!) mama FOREVER ago when they booked us to shoot she and Micah’s wedding. I knew then that this day was going to be amazing. I guess it was in the spring of 2008 when we met and one thing that sticks out in my memory about that meeting was when Tabitha’s mom, Lisa, asked me if we were thinking about having a baby. HAHAHA! She said, ” I know this might sound silly but you are a female photographer and since the wedding is a while away, I just figured I would ask.” Anthony and I had just stared trying for a baby that January and I was FREAKING out inside because my biggest worry about getting pregnant was how our clients would react AND how it would affect my work schedule. Looking back now all of those worries were SOOOO unnecessary (what can I say? I have THE BEST clients ever! ) and when we found out we were pregnant with Riley we let Lisa know right away. She was so excited for us and kept the encouragement coming! We just love this family and were so honored to be a part of their big day!

This wedding was full of really cool stuff. From the brooch that came off of Tabitha’s wedding dress that was used to decorate the cake…to the cowboy boot detailing on the grooms cake, to the fruit center pieces…everything was perfect and we couldnt be more excited for these two! Here are some of our favorites!

*side note: her bridesmaids shoes were rockin!

Nicole: Maternity

Hi everyone! Hope your weeks have been great. We have been rockin it over here at MPP and I wish I could say that our weekend was slow but…its not. This is one of a few post we will make this weekend so stay tuned because we have an awesome wedding to post later!

If you have seen this blog at all in the last year you will definitely remember this beautiful lady! This is Nicole. In the last year and a half we have shot her engagement, bridal, and wedding! Well, now its onto the next phase of life for she and her wonderful hubs, Cullen…its time for a baby! Their sweet little miss will be born THIS MONTH and we got together for their maternity session just in time! We even incorporated their sweet puppies too so it was truly a family affair. Here are some of our favs and stay tuned in the next month to see pictures of the baby when she gets here…we cant wait!!!

Nicole and Cullen we’re super great friends to me because we had a baby sitter MAYDAY situation right before their shoot and they said I could bring Riley with me. He was great…til the very end when he had had his fill of the bumbo and not being able to hold his mommy…here he is being sweet and looking out at Nicole and Cullen’s doggies.

Oh…and here is Riley right towards the end…pre melt down. Bless him…

Congrats Nicole and Cullen…we cant wait for play dates for Riley and Whitley! We know you are going to be wonderful parents and we are so excited about seeing your family grow!

Senior: Katie

Hey everyone! Meet this super sweet senior, Katie! She is a doll and I have known her since she was a wee one in the 5th grade…I was a freshman in college and GEEZE does that make me feel old! Katie is one of the most polite young women you’ll ever meet and I cant wait to see all of the amazing things that she has ahead of her. Her parents and little sis came with us for her session and so did her BFF so we made sure to grab a little bit of everyone while we were shooting. Good luck next year Katie and we love you!!!
